Semann & Slattery, with over 25 years of experience in education and community sectors, collaborates with fkaCS to co-lead projects such as the Quality Kindergarten Improvement Program, Early Childhood Language Program, and End to End Career Supports Program. Together, we deliver innovative programs that enhance professional practices and strengthen quality outcomes in early childhood education across Victoria.

Victorian Aboriginal Education Association

The Victorian Aboriginal Education Association (VAEAI) amplifies Koorie voices in education and decision-making. As a member of the Early Childhood Language Program Quality Steering Committee, VAEAI fosters cultural identity and increases community awareness of Koorie culture and aspirations.

Modern Language Teachers’ Association of Victoria

Kylie Farmer, Vice President of MLTAV and an experienced Language Education Consultant, supports the Early Childhood Language Program Quality Steering Committee, ensuring the quality of language teaching across early education settings in Victoria.

Expression Australia

Expression Australia, a not-for-profit organisation created by and for the Deaf Community, is a member of the Early Childhood Language Program Quality Support Steering Committee, guiding teachers in delivering Auslan programs.

Dr Yvette Slaughter

Associate Professor Yvette Slaughter, Academic Group Leader in Languages and Literacy Education at the University of Melbourne, contributes expertise in second language education to the Early Childhood Language Program Quality Steering Committee, advancing pedagogical innovation.

Dr Anne Kennedy

Anne is a highly respected leader in early childhood education with extensive experience as a teacher and academic. As a Honorary Fellow at the University of Melbourne and a member of the Victorian Children’s Council, Anne also serves on the boards of The Front Project and AERO. Anne is a member of the Early Childhood Language Program Steering Committee and the End-to-End Career Support consortium, providing pedagogical support to our coaches and facilitators.

Heather Barnes OAM

Heather Barnes OAM is an experienced pedagogical leader who has extensive experience supporting early childhood educational and care services. Heather is a member of the consortium delivering the End-to-End Career Support Program and provides pedagogical support to our coaches and facilitators.
